{"id":627,"date":"2009-01-26T16:32:53","date_gmt":"2009-01-26T14:32:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ofcourseimright.com\/?p=627"},"modified":"2009-01-26T16:32:53","modified_gmt":"2009-01-26T14:32:53","slug":"by-request-a-recipe-tragedy-chicken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofcourseimright.com\/?p=627","title":{"rendered":"By Request, a recipe: Tragedy Chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is a tasty chicken meal that takes about an hour to cook, but almost no prep time.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a bit sweet, and slightly spicy, but you can adjust to taste.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As many chicken thighs as you and your table will eat<\/li>\n<li>1 Tsp \/ thigh medium or mild mango chutney<\/li>\n<li>(about 1\/2 tsp per 4 tsp chutney) ground chipotle pepper<\/li>\n<li>(about 1 tsp per 4 tsp chutney) sweet paprika<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Directions<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 220\u00b0C (broil \/ grill setting).\u00a0 Place chicken in a baking dish, and broil chicken for five minutes to seer skin.\u00a0 Remove chicken and reduce oven temp to 180\u00b0C (bake setting with fan or about 190\u00b0 without fan).\u00a0 Cover dish and replace chicken in oven.\u00a0 Cook for 25 minutes with fan or 35 without.\u00a0 While chicken is cooking, mix remaining ingredients in a bowl.\u00a0 Remove chicken from oven, and increase temperature to 195 with fan, or 210 without.\u00a0 Spread mixture evenly over all pieces, and replace chicken in oven uncovered for ten minutes.\u00a0 Remove and serve with potatos and a vegetable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a tasty chicken meal that takes about an hour to cook, but almost no prep time.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a bit sweet, and slightly spicy, but you can adjust to taste.
